What U will do:

• Engage business and product stakeholders to elicit, define and gain sign off for NFR's
• Design and execute performance, load, soak and stress tests using JMeter, integrated with Selenium where applicable
• Analyse throughput, response times and resource utilisation
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and business teams to define NFR's and performance benchmarks
• Provide detailed performance test reports and recommendations for optimisation and scalability improvements
• Drive continuous improvement of performance tooling, frameworks, CI/CD integration, standards/templates, and governance 

U will be someone with:

• 7 + experience in performance and non-functional testing, including leading strategy, planning and execution
• Proven ability to engage business, product and technology stakeholders
• A strong understanding of application, database and infrastructure performance concepts and how to validate them in test
• Proven ability to communicate technical outcomes, risks and remediation options to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clients when required
• Working knowledge of observability and diagnostics using APM/monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Grafana, Elastic, Dynatrace or AppDynamics) to support root-cause analysis
• Experience with financial services and/or tax platforms, including high-volume processing and batch window performance, with a strong focus on reliability and scalability
