We’re looking for a Technical Consultant to play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality, fit‑for‑purpose solutions across one major client engagement or a portfolio of client projects within our UK Technical Consultancy team.
In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping and delivering technical solutions that integrate GBST’s wealth management platform into our clients’ operating environments. Working with cloud‑based, microservices‑driven technology, you’ll partner closely with clients and internal teams to design, validate, and deliver robust architectures that support business outcomes and long‑term scalability. You’ll act as a trusted technical advisor to our clients, providing leadership across solution design, integration architecture, and delivery, while contributing to the continuous improvement of GBST products and practices.
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys combining deep technical expertise with client engagement, problem‑solving, and strategic thinking to help drive the future of wealth technology. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term opportunity based in London.
What U will do:
- Provide technical leadership across one major client engagement or multiple client projects, ensuring consistent, high‑quality solution design and delivery.
- Help define end‑to‑end solution and integration architectures, aligning client requirements with GBST’s enterprise and product architecture.
- Work closely with clients, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Technical Architects to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Secure stakeholder agreement on solution designs, presenting options and recommendations where appropriate.
- Deliver expert consultancy on GBST products, helping clients understand how platform capabilities can best support their business and technical objectives.
- Identify gaps between client requirements and existing product capabilities, recommending solutions, enhancements, or architectural approaches.
- Promote best practices and contribute to consistent, high‑quality technical delivery across the team.
