We’re now on the lookout for a Senior Test Analyst to join our Technology team. In this role, you will ensure the quality of our platforms and applications through the planning and execution of functional testing. You’ll work closely with Software Engineers, Project Teams, and the business and play a key role in delivering high-quality application changes across multiple platforms.

What U will do:
• Analyse complex business and technical requirements to create effective test plans and test cases.
• Coordinate and execute functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
• Validate data and perform back-end testing using SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Manage defects, including raising and escalating issues as needed.
• Track testing progress and deliver high-quality reporting and defect summaries.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and tooling.
• Mentor and support junior test analysts and help build a culture of quality.
• Support or participate in test automation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with GBST policies, standards, and local statutory requirements.
• Actively contribute to a high-performing team by sharing knowledge, achievements, and providing training and direction.
Desired Skills and Experience
U will be someone with:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing within financial services or fintech domains (e.g., banking, investments, superannuation, payments, or trading systems).
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and QA best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe delivery environments.
• Experience using test management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Xray, Zephyr, or similar.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and testing processes.
• Tertiary qualification in an IT-related degree.
