Are you a gun Cloud Security Engineer looking to take the next step in helping us transform enterprise network security? You will be designing and implementing new network security solutions improving the efficiency and security of current networks. Your role will involve installing, configuring and supporting global network and security solutions. You will have strong AWS, Azure and Data Centre experience. As part of the role, you will need to be flexibly available outside of normal business hours to support GBST’s global network. You’ll be joining a diverse team in an Australian based company and collaborate with a high performing team.

What U will do:
• Design, deploy, manage and test changes to GBST’s global network and security infrastructure.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and services requests for infrastructure and other related technologies (network, security, etc.)
• Perform configuration and administration of network and security infrastructure
• Ensure controls, policies, and procedures are operating effectively
• Follow and enforce ITIL aligned incident, request fulfilment, problem and change management process for changes required on customer networks
• Build effective working relationships both internally and externally
• You’ll work both independently and collaboratively with various teams across the organisation, adapting to changing business requirements.
Do you have what it takes? You’ll need:
• Proven network experience across cloud and on-premise environments. This will include the design, implementation and support of network infrastructure.
• Solid cloud network experience working with AWS network services.
• Proven experience with automation and IaC technologies, such as Python, Terraform and CloudFormation
• Strong understanding of network security practices and security controls. Experience implementing and supporting SIEM and SASE solutions such as IBM QRoC, Palo Alto Cortex, Zscaler ZIA, ZPA and ZDX.
• Experience in IT engineering / operations or similar field
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, able to leverage server/network knowledge and broad array of tools to solve problems
• Solid hands-on experience with AWS network and content delivery, security services and Unix/Linux/Windows systems
• Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama – Experience implementing, supporting and maintaining - Active PCNSE certification is desirable
• Networking (Routing/Switching/Wireless/SD-WAN) – Experience implementing, supporting, and maintaining vendors such as Cisco, Juniper and/or Aruba
What U will bring:
• 5+ PREFERRED years of experience in IT Infrastructure and security.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in security with 3+ years securing cloud platforms (e.g. IAM, VPC Security, KMS).
• 4+ Years Experience with IaC / configuration management technologies (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
• Knowledge of basic cryptography and common network protocols.
