The opportunity for U

We’re now on the lookout for a Business Analyst in our Wealth Connect team to help design and support the development of technical solutions that meet the needs of our clients.  In your role as a Business Analyst, you’ll work within the Product team and closely with the Technology team, with an opportunity to make a significant contribution. You’ll be joining a diverse, collaborative team in a global company.  This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in Melbourne or Sydney. What U will do:

•    Evaluate work processes and end user requirements to translate needs into user stories, functional and /or technical specifications.

•    Document user stories, requirements analysis and specifications to support design and development of product features.

•    Align documentation with system specifications to optimise design and development outcomes.

•    Identify and curate specific client requirements impacting system configurability and product sustainability.

•    Define acceptance criteria to enable effective testing.

•    Execute unit integration and acceptance testing to ensure business needs are met.

•    Provide supporting documentation for product features to support releases, including release notes and user guides.

•    Manage competing resources and priorities.

•    Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Desired Skills and Experience

U will be someone with:

•    Domain knowledge and experience in the wealth management sector

•    Understanding of and experience working with Salesforce

•    A background in paraplanning and looking for a new challenge

•    A bachelor’s degree in business, technology or related field

•    A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis in technology environments

•    Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

•    The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

•    Excellent planning, documentation and time management skills
