Our team is looking for a Senior Technical Consultant to provide technical consultancy and subject matter expertise to clients implementing and integrating with GBST products and solutions. Senior Technical Consultants provide relevant knowledge to solve business and technical challenges, working collaboratively with others to ensure the best implementation approach is achieved.
Job Description

Work with current and prospective customers to understand their business and technical problems and advise them on potential solutions (including leading Discovery workshops).
Advise clients on core product and technical features, creating technical solution design documents for use in development teams.
Guide clients in making informed decisions when integrating with cloud solutions, and collaborate effectively with Cloud Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Software Engineers to deliver successful projects (including communicating with client-side technical architects).
Communicate with the client technical and solution representatives, facilitate demonstrations where required, and explain key benefits and impacts of GBST solutions.
Desired Skills and Experience
You’ll be a success in this role if you can bring:
Strong background in software engineering, with a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including Discovery, Design, Implementation, Testing, and Deployment phases.
Experience in building, integrating and deploying SaaS products in the cloud.
Understanding of cloud infrastructure and its’ relationship with developing secure and scalable applications (with a strong preference for AWS).
Familiarity with core technologies such as Java, Spring boot, JavaScript & Node JS.
Proficient in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, with practical experience in production environments.
Basic Knowledge of DevOps automation using CI/CD pipelines and Helm charts, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
Proficient in managing common AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, VPC) and ensuring efficient use of cloud resources.
Familiarity with basic administration of databases such as MSSQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
Experience in the Wealth Management Industry.
